Hi, My name is Paula Hebner, I have been happily married to my husband for 12 years now.  We have 3 children.  Our 20-year-old twin boys are living at home while working and going to the local university -- GO Knights!  Our 12-year-old daughter is a volleyball and roller skating fanatic.  Okay, I'm a major pet lover too.  Our cat, Bailey, wasn't very cooperative about having her picture taken, but our cocker spaniel, Max, is always game.

I work full time, although odd hours, as a legal assistant in an Orlando law firm.  Although I like my job, I've been doing it now for over 25 years (ok, stop counting on your fingers -- I'm 45 years old), and I'm ready for something more out of life

My goal is to be financially free, able to do what I want to do and when I want to do it.  I'm tired of getting up at 5:00 a.m., putting in a day of work and then running all over town trying to finish my errands before picking our daughter up from school.  I'm tired of the stress, traffic, deadlines, and associated headaches.   I'm tired of doing what I HAVE to do -- I'm ready to do what I WANT to do!

I began searching the internet for ways to earn extra income around the holidays.  I was tired of trying to make ends meet and then having to pay Christmas off on our credit cards for the rest of the following year.  I was tired of living paycheck to paycheck.   My internet search for a home-based business became quite confusing.  There are a LOT of home based businesses out there, huh?  I wanted to do something fun, something profitable, and something that, quite frankly, I could SEE myself doing and be proud of doing from home.

When I found this business with Scent-Sations, it appeared too good to be true.  I mean, how many legitimate work at home businesses are really out there that cost less than $50 to start, give you your own company website, have quality products, no hypes or gimmicks, free training and support, but no meetings and NO QUOTAS?  I mean, that's unheard of, right?

I stumbled upon this candle business which boasted gourmet scented candles which burned cleaner (no black sooty mess!), were tripple scented, no toxins, and would burn up to 50% longer than regular candles.  Well, I'm a bit cynical, and I didn't want to be involved in a business that I didn't believe in, much less a product I didn't like.  So I contacted a Scent-Sations distributor -- thanks forever Tracy!!! -- and she offered to send me a couple of scent samples, as well as a votive.  She even offered to mail me a full-size jar candle at her cost so I could see it for myself and see if I liked it.  The day I received those things from her is the day I signed up with this great company.

I still wasn't sure I would do well in "sales" since I had no experience at all in that area or in network marketing.  I told myself that I would try this business for 3 months, give it all I had to make it work, and if it wasn't a good fit for me and my family, I'd just stop doing it.  Easy.  That was over a year ago, and I'm still loving it!  I have no plans of stopping.

I have come to see that this is a REAL home based business that you can grow with and that will grow with you.  You sincerely get out of this business what you put into it.  At the moment, I'm focusing on working on "me."  By that, I mean that I'm working on becoming the best team leader I can be, becoming the best network marketer I can be, and becoming the best ME I can be.

I have always loved candles.  Candles can change how you're feeling; it can change your mood -- it's all in the scent.  I was spending so much money on cheap candles that didn't last; spending money on expensive candles that lasted, but left black soot on my candle jars and my WALLS -- ewwww.  I burn candles all year round too.  I love Pumpkin Spice in the fall, Christmas Pine in the winter (yes, we in Florida call it "winter"), French Lavender in the spring, and Fresh Apple or Cucumber Melon in the summer.

One of the things that really amazes me about this business is that everyone is so normal, so friendly, so helpful.  I feel that everyone in this company, all the way up to the top, honestly wants to help me succeed in this business.  I have actually had a question and spoken directly to the company's CEO.  How cool is that?

I know my dreams of financial freedom will someday come true.   My monthly commission checks from this business increase each and every month.  I see people on my team being inspired (and inspiring) each and every day.  I see distributors in this company earning six-figure incomes using the EXACT SAME TOOLS I have before me.  I know if they can do it, so can I.  I also know that this business is something I have fun doing.  I'm proud to say: "I'm a Mia Bella distributor."
